Bobby Kerr is an Irish entrepreneur and businessman. As well as Down to Business, Bobby was one of the founding Dragons on RTE’s Dragons’ Den and is still actively involved in a number of his Dragons’ Den investments. He is the Chairman of Insomnia Coffee Copany and is one of the owners of BANG Restaurant. He has a variety of business interests in food & hospitality, technology, manufacturing and retail. Bobby is also a popular public speaker and business mentor.
Bobby lives by the sea in Sandycove, just outside Dublin City, with his wife Mary and their four daughters. He has been actively involved in raising money for many causes and has been part of a team that has raised over €100k for Blackrock Hospice. Bobby has been a keen yachtsman for the last 25 years and races competitively in Dun Laoghaire.
Bobby is passionate about being the voice for small business in Ireland and providing a platform on the show that will allow all businesses, both big and small, to have their voice heard in the marketplace.
This is a lively business show focusing on Irish businesses and industry. It talks to the people behind Irish businesses, both big and small, to get their insights into their industries, other industries and what it takes to be successful. The show acts as a mentor to SME’s with regular panels addressing problems or issues that might affect them. It is currently sponsored by AIB.

Industries we have covered include Bookmakers, Cosmetic Surgeons, Online Deal Sites, Film & Gaming. The panelists are always high profile and the topics are always relevant to the listeners, usually something that they would have an invested interest in. Because of this its very interactive.
