Piers Morgan has been trying to position himself as Arsenal's most prominent fan on Twitter.
The TV host and journalist has long been a member of the #WengerOut brigade and also saw Aaron Ramsey as a "complete and utter liability".
However, the Gunners have made a storming start to the new season, firing themselves to the top of the Premier League and putting themselves in a good position to qualify from a tough Champions League group.
Morgan has jokingly taken credit for Arsenal's resurgence:
Last year I put sustained pressure on under-performing Wenger & Ramsey. Now we see the results. The words 'Thanks, Piers' wouldn't go amiss.

But he is very quiet about his leadership role in the anti-Wenger and anti-Ramsey brigades:
BOOOMMM!!! 1-0. Unbelievable - @aaronramsey AGAIN. Thank God I saw his potential last season and stood by him. #Afc
