Louis van Gaal has secured his first three point victory as Manchester United manager. His team saw off QPR with a 4-0 win at Old Trafford.

Angel di Maria, Ander Herrera and Wayne Rooney managed first half goals for United. Juan Mata added a fourth 14 minutes into the second half.

It is van Gaal's first Premier League win, following two draws and a loss.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest have moved a point clear the top of the Championship with a 1-1 draw with Derby at the City Ground.

Britt Assombalonga's strike for Forest was cancelled out by Ryan Shotton just 10 minutes from time.

Derby ended the game with ten men after Jake Buxton was sent off late on.

At home, it will take a replay to separate Avondale and Finn Harps.

They've drawn their FAI Ford Cup quarter final with one goal apiece at Avondale Park. Danny Long cancelled out Mickey Funston's opener for Harps.

That replay will be at Finn Park on Wednesday night at 8pm
