So Burger King in Japan is reintroducing its squid-ink black cheese burger.

Granted, it doesn’t look that different from the one you were drunkenly barbecuing to a cinder, but the bun has captured the world’s imagination today.

With most people thinking this burger looks rather unappetising:

Others, though, recognised how narrow-minded Westerners are being to this fusion cuisine:

Of course, the reality is that the black burger is just another example of how Japan’s curious epicurean decisions can leaving all thinking, “Eh… no no arigato, all the same.”
