The third Global Irish Economic Forum is underway at Dublin Castle this morning. 270 delegates from around the world are discussing how Ireland can improve its economy in a range of different sectors.
Unlike previous years the guest list this year does not have celebrity names like Bill Clinton, Gabriel Byrne or Bono.
The overall focus of the Forum will be on creating the right conditions for job creation.

Areas identified for discussion during the two-day conference are overcoming challenges facing the domestic economy, tackling youth unemployment, financial services, public financing, technology and education.
18 working groups and six panel discussions will also focus on opportunities for Ireland in sectors like financial services, food and agri-tech, higher education, smart-ageing technologies, social innovation and the digitisation of the global economy.

There will also be opportunities for discussion on the future contribution of the Global Irish Network in tourism and cultural sectors.
But Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore says this forum is not about big names and big issues.
