Ireland goalkeeper David Forde is set to undergo knee surgery today.
The 33-year-old was injured during Milwall's opening Sky Bet Championship game at the weekend.
It means he is unlikely to feature in Ireland's friendly against Wales next Wednesday.

He is also a doubt for the World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Austria in September.
In his absence, Sunderland's Kieren Westwood may get a chance to stake his claim for the number 1 jersey.
