Facebook has just introduced 'Save', their new feature which will allow users to bookmark posts, links, music, videos and any other items that may appear in their Newsfeed.

'Save', when selected on a post, will save that post to a list where items can be accessed at any time by the Facebook user.

Facebook software engineer Daniel Giambalvo made the announcement earlier in a blogpost and said, "Every day, people find all sorts of interesting items on Facebook that they don’t have time to explore right away. Now you can save items that you find on Facebook to check out later when you have more time."

The 'Save' feature is accessed in the right drop down menu of a post which currently hosts the hide and report as spam option.

Saved posts will be private but Facebook user's will have the option to share them with their friends if they wish.

The feature is an addition that will surely be welcomed by all Facebook users as previously there was no way to return to a post, article, link, music or video clip you liked without scrolling through all your Newsfeed and posts.

The 'Save' feature will be available both on web versions and the iOS and Android mobile apps of Facebook and will be rolled out to users in the next few days.
