It's day two of the Electric Picnic and even though the clouds are looming large, spirits are running high.

Punters were spoiled for choice today with the Trinity Orchestra kicking off events on the Main Stage. The Mindfield Arena as always was the perfect way to ease yourself into festivities with an array of engaging talks and great traditional music.

Highlights yesterday included Blondie who blew the crowd away and indulged fans by playing their biggest hits, and Pet Shop Boys, who headlined the Main Stage's Friday line-up.

The Body and Soul area - now a defining element of the picnic - is a feast for the senses.

Giant wicker men, fortune wheels and incredible bamboo structures dressed in fairy lights just an example of the signature B&S magical atmosphere.

As usual, the grounds in Stradbally are beautifully decorated, with bunting a plenty and multi coloured flags as far as the eye can see.

Revellers have impressive acts like Hozier, Bombay Bicycle Club and Portishead to look forward to today.

Outkast are sure to keep the crowds here until tomorrow night as they close the curtains close on the 11th Electric Picnic.
